Default Heater core

To all, Just took my heater core out and let me tell you, it the F%^king worst. Anyway should I get the new heater core pressure tested. My dad thinks that I should. I'm getting a OEM heater core. Thanks.

You can test it yourself if you're that paranoid. Fill the sink with water, cap the 2 ends of the core, and submerge it. Look for air bubbles. No bubbles = no leaks

dont pay to have something like that checked, i worked at a machine shop, and pressure tested rads, intercoolers, heatercores, etc... and well... i wouldnt see why you would pay to have that done

seriously... do what whitefox said, or, cap off 1 end and put air thru the other, trying to seal it as best as possible... and spray it w soapy water... look for bubbles
