Default Romeo or Windsor?

Well i did my research and found that If one has an "x" in the eighth digit of their vin than their engine is supposed to be a windsor, also the windsor has 13 bolt valve covers while the romeo 11...here inlies my problem. I have the x in my vin leading me to believe its a windsor, but my valve covers are 11 bolt like the romeo. Its an 02...Anyone have a clue whats up with that?

Your research is wrong. The x means its a v8 and thats it. Windsor motors have 13 and 14 bolt valve covers. You have a romeo.
