Default Radiator function?

Long story short I had a radiator that leaked on me so under warranty got a new one. I still have the old radiator and want to try to sell it. I have some of that JB waterweld stuff and I want to know if I cover up a few fins would that affect anything at all? were talking 2-3 fins on the sides only.

no, it will be fine as long as you dont start covering alot of the fins.

yeah it leaks where the fins meet the side cans so I had planned on laying the jb putty kind of like a bead of caulk. If i do that it will probably cover up a few fins and I just want to make sure that won't cause any problems.
