when i bought my car the owner before me had a diablo sport chip put on and an exaust. i am asuming that the chip 6 years old bc my car is a 99. but now my car is running to rich and i was wondering if the diablo chips go bad or need to be re tuned over the years?? anyone had the promblem

You may have unseated the chip when you were looking at it. It doesn't take much to knock them out of ford PCMs. They usually recommend taping the chip in.
