ahhh, then they are romeo, he sent me a picture of the top of the heads, there are 11, that makes things easier. Plus thanks for the info on the alt. bracket, your input is great! im looking for these money saving things, im real good at cob-jobbing thing like rigging the alt. bracket as you said.

what kind of numbers would i be looking at with ported pi heads and 24 lb injectors/mass air?

depends on the cams, but from what ive seen people that do the swap, its somewhere in the 300whp. that includes all the usual bolt ons with ported heads. just look at some of the other guys sigs. that have done the npi to pi swap. stock pi gt make around 230-240whp. since your pistons arent dished but flat your c/r will be higher so even w/o porting that should mean you would make more hp.

what does it take the c/r to? are the stock PI cams good enough with ported heads, or is there a cam that most use when swapping from non pi to PI?

about 10.0:1 from the ford racing catalog. if that concerns you, you could get a thicker head gasket, say from cosmetic to drop it back down to about 9.5 for the stock pi engine. the stock cams will work but if you go with crower or comp you will get more. just depend on you budget.
