No but you get better results when the bottle is warm. Usually people use it for in the cold.

I want to thank eveyone for the info fisrt off and know i need to choose between 2 kits

https://mustangforums.com/forum/new-...her-years.html
this one is a used kit from someone on the forum

http://www.americanmuscle.com/zex-mu...-96-04-v8.html
and this one is brand new.

Which one is going to be safer and better without buying any other parts?

The used kit have every thing, except as mentioned earlier you need a set of TR6's and a good tune.

there's nothing dangerous about a wet shot, the only dangerous part of a nitrous kit is the user and installer.

does a slightly used(one bottle ran through it) zex kit for $275 shipped sound like a good deal??
it comes with everything, minus a few connectors and stuff

its the same kit AM sells

I know I'm a new guy around here... but I am also preparing my 01 GT for Nitrous and happen to live about 20 minutes from the Dynotune shop...

I spent about an hour down there yesterday talking with them... They showed me around the shop, and took a lot of time answering all my questions... Their products look top notch and I can't wait to get it setup...

I'll be running the base kit, single stage window switch / TPS, heater, purge, digital pressure gauge, remote opener etc... will start with 100 shot, then maybe move up with a tune in a bit...

Anyway... I just wanted to throw out there that they're legit, although smaller outfit... I have no affiliation with them... just a shot out...

I just dropped back on this thread after not seeing it for a few days, so your telling me someone actually put a nitrous line straight from the bottle into there intake and used it that way, that would be like a 1,000 shot. Some people are to stupid to even own a mustang, let alone mod one. I wish when I had spray I had the whole system setup. I just installed the kit, added a gauge and used it a few times at the track then sold it, when my procharger got to the shop. Anyone else sick of this f-ing snow!!!
