Default 315 DRs - will this rim work?!

Ok, I finally have some cash and want to mod.

First I have to fix the diablosport tune, because my car is shifting way too early (when I don't shift it myself). If the support people can't send me a tune that'll help it, I'm either going to get a dyno tune or get the transmission checked (which I doubt is the problem).

Soo, given that the transmission shifts as it should, I want to get 315 DRs. Right now I have 245/45-17 street tires on there, but I don't know the other dimension of the rim. As in... I don't know if the rim is 17x9 or 17x10.5. Will the nitto 315/35-17 fit?

Hey, and if anyone can suggest another mod that would be better worth the money now (can't really install it myself) - LET ME KNOW!! Thanks guys.

On the 17x10.5 i know they will fit i honestly have no idea about the 17x9
As for other mods maybe start your exhaust seens how you already have gears which is what everyone would have told you to get. And at least one guy is gonna tell you get nawz!!!!! I personally would go full exhaust with lt's right now... Good luck!

I realized that was one I left out.. I got a nice magnaflow setup.

Thanks though! I got the nos taken out when I got it and sold it (don't kill me).. would rather save up for permanent speed.

if you have 245/45's on there right most likely they're 17x9's, and if they're 17x9's a 315 will not fit. But you should invest in some wider rims with a deep dish, they look good and set the car off well. Longtubes are hard to find and are expensive for an auto so IDK if i would toss them on yet. I would do somekind of suspension or traction ugrade, such as lowering springs or UCA's and LCA's.

hmm...

Do LCAs and UCAs get upgraded together? I've heard they help 60' times, so the launch... but is it worth the money at this point? How much do those upgrades run? Thanks btw.

You dont have to upgrade them together. They do lower your 60' time and if you shop around you can prob find a kit with both for 350-400. If you wanting the tire for performance I would just slap a set of 275/40/17 drag radials on there. Any thing over a 275/285 dont help with grip or performance any more than these and are more for looks. The drag radials will probably help you out more now with the mods you have than the control arms
