I'm having a hard time reading your posts.

How much power are you putting down? You should be able to roast them with 3.27s at part throttle in first.

With 4.10s you will need AT LEAST MT or BFG DRs to hook on the street. Everyone here is saying 3.73s tops for a reason.

And you PEEL out....

go with 3.73s...4.10s will be overkill and a half...even 3.73s are kinda big...3.55 would probably be perfect.

4.10 is waaayyy too much gear for a roots s/c. i dont understang how you are not launching good with a blower??? what type of s/c do you have?? the max i would go is 3.73. i have 3.90 and i can roast my bfg dr's (315's by the way)when letting the clutch go at 3000-3500 rpm. don't put 4.10's honestly, you will hate yourself later. bc all it will lead to is you saying #$%^ and dong another gear install.

from what i've seen, a roots blower (positive dispalcement) works better with 3.73s, but a centri blower works well with 4.10s because you dont make all the boost when you press the pedal down. you will have no traction at all in 1st and 2nd gear with a twin screw and 4.10s.

even with 3.73s and a centri you will blow the tires off through 1st and second unless you have good tires...I do atleast.

With the stall its basically like having a roots blower now.

You seem to be under the misunderstanding that peeling out wins races. When you smoke the tires, your pretty much going nowhere fast. Even a stock GT will smoke the tires if the driver revs to 3200, dumps the clutch, and goes wide open throttle. You are already throwing too much power at the rear wheels. It doesn't matter that you are at peak boost around 2500 rpm with a twin-screw, its too much for the tires and you need to back off. Gears, whether 3.73s or 4.10s, will make your problem worse not better.

I'm sorry but with the way your launching a stock GT with a good driver could probably beat you. Try launching at 1800 and going half throttle until the tires start to grab then go WOT. You'll be much happier with the result.
