Default technical question about headers

I bought my car with a full flowmaster exhaust with no cats on it and was thinking about upgrading headers. I know I could use shorties no matter what, but what do i need to be able to use the long tube ones? I want some actual hp gain when I do this. any input will be appreciated. Thanks guys.

for LTs you will need to get a shorty midpipe (x or h) and probably O2 sensor extensions. Other than that you should be fine.

you will need a short x or h pipe to hook up between the longtubes and your catback. You will also need 02 sensor extensions unless you want to extend the front o2 wires yourself. You could get better gaskets and header bolts if you want too.

I dont have cats and Im pretty sure my o2 sensors have been disabled or bypassed as I am not getting codes thrown at me while im driving right now. Would i just need an h pipe then?

no you still need the extensions. Your rear o2 sensors were taken care of already but your car will always need the front 2.
