I just checked the carfax. It looks clean no accidents. It has had three owners and was a lease vehicle at one point in Ohio.

Im not sure what options it has other than its a GT. I am assuming its just the standard non-leather package but I don't know for sure. I may see if I can take a look at it tomorrow.
its modded, has had 3 owners, and its a GT. not worth 10K.

for a couple thousand more you could have a mach 1 or new edge cobra.

like previously stated, offer him 9. if he doesnt take it, then look elsewhere. it does have very good milage though.

Another vote for holding out for a 4-valve. More power without any mods.

I third that. Car sounds good and if it looks/drives as good as it sounds, then I say buy it. Don't however, give him 10K for it. When blue book is calculated it already takes into account the mileage bonus and awards him extra $$, so why should you do it again? So, I say allow him a little money for the aftermarket parts installed, but not enough to cover what he paid for them. 9K is more than fair. Good luck.

Thanks for all the help everyone!

I came across a 99 GT Convertible manual transmission with 60,000 miles today for $7800. it was in decent shape.

So I guess its a toss up between the two now.

it might be fair but if he wants to sell it hell drop the price. 10k is pretty high these days for a GT. i couldve gotten a mach around that many miles for about 3500-4500 more.

that kills the value in my eyes. i would only buy a stock car.

the reason i wouldnt pay 10K for the car the OP mentioned is because it is modded.

the mods done to it aren't anything serious so that doesn't really hurt the value in my opinion.

I bought my 02' GT in august, bone stock, every option for 12k if that helps.
