all u need is the bracket kit (about $700ish) and the discharge tube ($150ish). the $1600 is the amount that thread starter used in order to barely piece together and put on a vortech kit on a new edge

What year M3? If it's an E46 (2000-05) then it should be no problem with an S/C. If it's an E92 (08 or newer) I think you would be in trouble. The new ones put out around 420 hp. The E46 is around 330 hp. However, Neither one produces near the torque of a S/C V8.

I run 8psi on my vortech. I've doored M3's. I ran 392hp to the wheels. With 42lb injectors. I'm also running a 315 rear tire to make it hook up; with rear upper and lower control arms as well.

My guess is he is probably running more than 8 psi to get those numbers. He could be running 9 or 10 psi.

Hello:

I just installed a vortech on an 01 with 83k on it. I have a stock pulley, focus fuel pump, and 42lbs injectors. I ran 358hp on the dyno.

One you get the S/C on, it is a monster!!!!!
