It's Just my luck, and for the record to OP if you do get the cobra calipers this will likely NEVER happen under any normal driving conditions, this happened on a track using race pads.

yep, it's a direct replacement with everything you need..... just don't break the banjo bolts ...

The Cobra brakes are worlds ahead of the GT brakes. Just look at the numbers that Hoss already posted. 11X feet is a decent 60-0 unless you are looking at some much more expensive cars than ours. Obviously you can improve that. Every part of your car including springs, alignment, tires, 3 link rear etc will improve your braking.

You can go for the Cobra R kit but you will need 18" wheels to fit them. I would go for the Cobra brakes, some nice pads and some SS brake lines. Unless you are doing track days all the time it will be plenty.

That's awesome.

Default Thanks for the info

I'm looking for Street and occasional auto X, it looks like the 10th anniversary ones will do. It looks like the rears a bit more difficult to do, anyone have any thoughts on it? Easy, hard?

well it is more work than the fronts, and the rears arent not nearly as critical.

A good time to to it is when you are doing gears because the axles have to come out.

Excuse my ignorance, but why are you pulling the axles to install Cobra calipers?

Because you need to install the cobra brackets. The rear calipers are actually the same they just have a different bracket that allows you to use .5" larger rotor

Here is a walk through
