Headlight Aiming.
i recently put some angel eye headlights in my '96 GT.

the install was NOT as straightforward as the guide i found on the internet made it seem. I got them in anyway and the low beams are only a feet in front of the car...
How do you aim halo headlights on a '96 mustang? or probably more specific, how do you aim aftermarket projector headlights on a '96 mustang... HELP PLEASE.

i found the isntall very easy on my car.... there are three mounting screws that you put into the header panel to hold the headlight in. I believe they are like a 6mm or something, there is one closer to the middle of the car, and two towards the outer side of the car(all on the back of the headlight) , the top one on the outer side will determine the height of your headlights, by loosening the screw it will pull the headlight up and aim your headlights higher. then the inner most screw will help to aim left and right. if you got any more questions let me know

lol I know. I like the idea of angel eyes and projectors. My friend has a Mazdaspeed3 with angel eyes and you can't go wrong with projectors as far as light projection, however, on a Mustang it looks too ricey for me. Just personal preference. I'm getting the smoked clear corners (gotta match my car ).

the halos look great on Mustangs. your preference is a little off. BlackMage thanks for the help. I got the socket and located the screws. The one for height adjustment is in a TIGHT spot with the socket and wrench... gotta make it work though. THANK YOU.

yea they do get a little tight, i actually ended up taking them out, adjusting them, then sliding em back in multiple times to get em to work. ford sells a tool just for aligning the headlights but its rediculously priced, my friend has one from his body shop that i used on my second pair, (first pair got destroyed by some guy backing into my car in a parking lot)

You're a part of a microscopic minority, homeslice.
Love the beam pattern, not so much getting laughed at. You're happy and that's what counts.
