Its universal, but not so universal, at least for a mustang...It doesnt fit in the grooves on the caliber very well. It works by attaching to you 3/8 or 1/4 wrench and you use it somewhat like a socket, but it really isnt worth the cheap metal its made out of, I have been through exactly what you going through. I had the car jacked up and realized I need the tool, so I went to advanced auto and ask for a caliber removal tool, they hand me the universal cube thing, I drive back home try it, and it doesnt fit right, so I take it back and ask for a Caliber Removal Tool, he says thats all we have, so I went to Autozone, and asked for the samething, Finally, I found one of the smarter ones that work at a parts store, he said you will need to rent this when you get gone bring it back, and you will get your money back. And it worked 100% better then that cube thing we all hate. The kit has everything you would need and guess what no busted knuckles.

If you ever have to do your brakes more than one time the kit is a very good investment!!! or if you do your friends brakes too(like me)

Jr, the second link is almost exactly like Autozone's rental, and 1999, most of the time when you rent something you get your money back, lol. Kinda the point of RENTING...lol! Thanks for the laugh.
