Default Anyone know how to reset mechanical odometer?

No, im not trying to rip anyone off, i would just like to reset my miles so i know how many i've put on my new motor without having to add everytime, also i think the high milage on the odometer looks ugly. Its the 96 so its not digital display, any ideas? Maybe i could take it out and do it by hand?

Pretty sure that it's a felony to change the miles, regardless of the reason and if you ever sell it or not.

If you did find away you would never be able to sell the car legally again.
