Default Is this normal?

I dont know if this is normal or not, but I think there is too much play in the drivetrain. Forinstence, if I let off the gass sundenly while its in gear it jerks a little bit. I figure it should be smooth, mabye too much play in the rear end?

Does anyone else experiance this?

I have a 5 speed. I wish I could be tighter, I wish there was no jerking.

Yea mine does that and i have had the tranny rebuild underwarranty, it still does it i have just got used to it someone said the there is a gap in the gears in the rearend and that is why they do that. I can only think that it couldn't be good. i would talk to some guys with 4.10 or some other ration and ask if theres still does it then that would make that true about the gears

I got 3:73 and also does it. Don't think there is a way around it.

Mine does it as well and like someone else said it only happens in first and second. At first I thought it may have been a problem but my friend is a mechanic, and as a mustang owner himself he assured me that there is nothing wrong.
