cam question

You do not need valve springs for stage 2 hitech if your under 6500 like others said. Keep it at 6400 and your all good. Both cams and nitrous are great. Its what you choose. I have seen a GT with those cams and bolt ons run 12.0. I also have seen bolt ons and nitrous run high 11 low 12's. I say do both. But if you do get cams you will need a tune. Plus install seems to be pretty high for many people here. Here in houston i can get them done for 300 dollars. Cost for me cams 650 install 300 tune 500 we are looking at $1450. Nitrous, i got my kit 400 bucks and it had all i needed. Im an auto so its easier and cheaper for me. Weigh the pros and cons. Or if you have money do both. Good Luck

just throwing this out there for you to think about but if hitech dont require a spring upgrade just how good of a stage 2 cam is it. just throwing that out there for you to think about if you are still going with cams. but check around and call hitech and cushman and maybe even comp. tell them what you want and see what that say just keep in mind what i said about hitech

Have you seen the results on the HiTech cams? Obviously not, since 99% of people running the HiTech Stage 2 cams with bolt ons are at or over 300rwhp. Try being a little more objective, people don't like nuthuggers, and will ignore any decent advice you do end up giving, since you're obviously biased.

You obviously are a CMS nuthugger from the thread on Modular Fords, and now you've proved you know nothing about cams.

I've explained the problems I've had with HiTech cams and their customer service on a few other ocations.
Also, There aren't many people on this board that ignore me so I'll say to you, SFTU Noob!
