The stock COPs are actually very very good. There are some aftermarket ones but aren't really much better. Try looking over at modular depot's site. There is ONE company.

IMO it's not worth it. The stock stuff is good for well over 700hp, and I have seen the car and seen it dyno, IT'S INSANE!

There are a lot better things to spend 300bux on that will actually net you HP.

If your car is missing that could be a bad spark plug, plug wire, coil pack, most likely a plug wire or spark plug. Or your getting putting confused w/ missing. Check your fuel filter, air filter maybe even. I doubt its your coil pack.

He doesn't have spark plug wires. Every cylinder has it's own coil with boot bolt over the spark plug.

If the car is missing it would throw a code for missing. Do you have a timing adjuster?

It could be as simple as a fuel filter. They can cause the car to stumble from time to time. I would change it before trying to go after electrical. It's cheaper and usually is the problem with a "missing" sensation seeing as the car will throw a missing code if it is bad enough.

Jack up the car under the rear axle, crawl under the gas tank (after the car is properly supported of course) and look just in front of it on the floor of the car. Get a motorcraft filter. it's one of the best.
