ok guys i just bought a zex kit i am starting off with the 100 shot and its wired to the wot switch and i also have a push button wired into that and my question is in a quarter mile how many times do i spray. because i can spray it when ever i want as long as im wide open and push the button. i have just basic bolt ons and stock everything else accept cams and valve spring. and which gear do you guys spray in. 2nd 3rd or 4th or all three or just two or what ever help me out guys i really dont want to blow up my car

i was looking into nitrous also but i wanted a plate kit, was thinking NX plate kit (comes on when its activated and you are WOT). add window switch and it should be pretty safe

If you have the traction issue under control I would spray at like 3k in 1st untill u finish.. just make sure u dont miss a shift while your holding the button...that would be bad lol

Do you have a window switch? If you have a manual it's a good idea. Otherwise don't miss a shift and you'll be fine. I run a 100 shot, and on street tires i hit it in second, third, and fourth.

On your zex box do you have 3 wires comimg out (red,black,and white)? dont forget to change the plugs. Am using tr6 ngk. Not sure why you have the wide open switch on a push button. When it is wired in for wide open throttle.

bostang i do have 3 wires on my zex box i do have the white wire ran to the tps but i also have the push button wire inline with it so 2 things have to be present for it to shoot, i have to be at wot ,and i also have to push the button. its kinda my way of doing away with a window switch so i can spray right when i want to.
