painting headers

Default painting headers

i was wanting to no would it be a good idea to paint my headers befor i install them. they are not seramic coated that is why i would like to paint them. also what if i used that heat wrap stuff is that going to hurt my power gains or any thing.

Do NOT use heat-wrap on a DD, it will trap moisture and make the headers rust-out. The Duplicolor or other "ceramic" paint (Jet-Hot has a particularly good product) wont hurt--use several coats (4 to 6) for best effect...

hahaha i know someone that did heat wrap LTs and it murdered em.

it rly sucks.
