Default Need Help ASAP

I need help with a fuel pump issue on a 2004 GT. I just got my car done from a h/c swap and the stock fuel pump isn't enough for the 30# injectors. I order a 255lph fuel pump fromn 50resto.com and it is about a 1/2" to long. Anyone who has any knowledge or experience in this matter please help. Thannks

What 255lph pump did you get? From what I hear, the SVT Focus pump is a direct drop in 99-04 GT fuel hats.

Yes, the SVT Focus pump is a 100% direct fit as I just replaced mine a couple months back.

Does the electrical connector fit onto the tip of the new pump and just too tall?

you have to buy a specific fuel pump either THE svt focus, or a walbro for an svt focus (only other 255 i know of) for that application. a regular pump will not hold up to the pulse width modulated signal the returnless pumps use.

I suggest changing your thread topic to pertain to your issue, it will help you get better responses.
