Angry Brake Problem Please HELP!!

So I just replaced my rotors and pads on the rear of my 01 GT... I decided to take it for a drive before I do the fronts but I noticed a grinding noise when cranking the wheel to the left. I took the left wheel off and noticed that the new rotor was already starting to score! I took off the caliper again and noticed that the caliper is REALLY close to the rotor. I compressed the piston again and made sure I did all the steps correctly. I got the car down off the jacks and the caliper now had some space between the rotor. So.... I drove it again and BAM... the caliper started rubbing the rotor again. WTF! Anyone have any ideas?? I really hope something is not warped... Thx!

it'll rub for a little while. just keep drivin it, mine did the same thing. dont worry if you smell the brakes burning, the piston just needs to "re-seat" itself in the caliper. when you use the tool to push it back in, the piston needs to re adjust. it'll be fine, just keep driving it

Even if the rotor already started to get scored (scratched)??

Well the brake caliper shouldnt be touching the rotor, only the brake pads should be. Jack up the back of the car, take the tires off and spin the rotors and find out where it touchs. Maybe the rotors are too big? I really dont know how to help, but maybe its just the new pads rubbing the new rotor.

its kinda hard to justify how the caliper/pad is scratching the rotor. can you take a pic? i cant really guess without seeing exactly what you're talkin about. if its just minor scratches then its the pad. how bad is it compared to the front rotors?

Yeah i wouldn't worry about it too much unless its actually causing deep grooves in your rotor, or damaging your caliper.
