Ok..

I just went and got a mechanics stethascope. With the engine idling, the loudest places I hear this knocking noise are;
Passenger side injectors
Bottom valve cover bolt on the passenger side
passenger side catalytic convertor

Its not near a loud from the valve cover on the passenger side. But you can hear the noise slightly from most any spot on the block or tranny.

Thought it may be an injector, the noise almost goes away in my scope when I unplug passenger side injectors. But you can hear it when you take them out of your ears.

Guess I'll try a lead down test and maybe check the lash adjusters.

But it really sounds like the #4 rod I suppose????
