I will trade someone my catback or muffler's for some LM1's or LM2's. I have the Flowmaster 40 catback.

I have shorties, o/r h and lm2's. I had lm1's on the car before but they were to damn loud for me, so i bought the lm2's and put the lm1's in the shed and it quieted it down some but still too loud. I am looking for magnaflows now. dennis 112 if you had those i would surely trade w/ you.

I have the slp x pipe with cats and Slp LM2's and I love them. Yeah I don't get that chambered sound but I get a good rumble from the car now! I love them! I think I just need to get a JLT Cold air intake now. I have heard that CAI makes the exhaust a little bit louder. Is that true?

it'll be louder, but not by a whole lot. I have that setup atm and love it.

h pipes with lm's don't sound right imo, h pipes are more of a chambered muffler setup.

I had the LM2's on my stock GT coupe, and it really had a great sound. Probably like all the dudes with pickups that have exhaust on them. Flash forward, that ones totalled, and I put the LM2's on a 02 vert with a UPR O/R x-pipe and a vortech, and its WAYYY loud!! I like a loud car, but I think with the vert it is just to loud, if you want to listen to the radio anyway. But it does sound mean!!!

I have LM1 and SLP X and its loud but I only live like 5 miles from where I work so I dont really have to worry about it on long drives. If I did, I might be tempted to try something else. To the OP, stay with SLP it really is a great exhaust, just go with LM2 if its too loud for you, just my 02

i also had SLP LM1 and i hated it so i had them take off the slp and put on magnaflow mufflers. if you take it to an exhaust shop it shouldnt be that hard for them to weld on new mufflers (i.e. "weld-on mufflers") lol
