Squeak/creak noise from front end
On my 2000 mustang GT i have a squeak or creaking noise coming from the front end of the car when the wheels are turned most of the time going in reverse at a slow speed like pulling out of a parking spot. I have changed struts and the upper strut mounts to caste/camber plates and not for this reason, but the noise was there before and after both installs. i did notice the E5DZ-3K620-A bulletin and this sounds like the problem i am having but it seems to be for the 02-04 mustang not any earlier years. It is tuff to get under the car and try and pin point the noise by myself and being such a low car to the ground. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Do our cars pre 02-04 cars have the same tub mount part that needs to be shorter? Yes I know it is the same setup but is it the exact length cause it seems to be only a $10 fix or I could just cut them with a grinder. Thanks for your input.

Thanks Cliff I have been to your site before and the info you have there is great. The only thing I wonder is the stock length of your tube from your 03 stang is it the same as my stock 00 stang? If it is why didn't Ford include the earlier years in that TSB? I don't want to make it too short if mine are already the length of your modified cut parts. Do you know how long your parts were either before you cut them or after? Sorry for asking so many questions. I could always take one of mine off and compare to the specs.
