Default coil problems

so i had a thread going about my car idling wrong and misfiring. it threw a code saying that my #7 coil was misfiring. so i change it and everything runs decently for about 2 weeks, throws a code, and its coil #7 again. the coil i got was a lifetime warranty so its free to replace but what are the odds that the same coil would go out? im going to change it again and see what happens. the guy at o'reillies auto parts said that the actual cylinder might be bad... what would that mean for repairs?

could my aftermarket intake be causing all these problems? there were no problems before i installed the new intake. what about the MAF?

didn't we tell you to get to codes post them up?

did you pull the plug and take a look at it? was there any moisture on the plug boot?

i replaced the coil and put my original intake back on. engine light is off now but its still idling abnormally and is not accelerating properly. if i just barely have my foot on the pedal just trying to maintain speed, the car shakes pretty bad but when i really step on the gas it does fine. as a side note, when i took my aftermarket intake off, i noticed some metal shavings inside the tube and i know that is not normal...

the code was #7 coil misfiring.... there was some grease or something on the boot but i would not say moisture.
