Go for the ACCUFAB plenum, it is worth 15-25 hp gain and you will feel the difference.I got one for my '00 GT

LMAO... what a tard! Mine is in the sig, I like it a lot. Go 75 MM on that TB dude! the combo is worth more HP vs. the 70mm TB, check it out on www.CNLPerformance.com they have lots of info.

IWinULose, I can't tell from your post what kind of "engine" modifications you have. If you have extensive engine mods such as heads, injectors, turbo or supercharger, then yes, a larger intake will surely increase your power output. As I said before, if you use another plenum such as C&L or a couple of others out there, they supposedly work a bit better with the 75mm on any application.....so they say. I have only seen real hard numbers on the Accufab plenums and Accufab is known for quality parts. I think I would trust their stats. Visually, the Accufab totally blows away any other manufacturer of plenums on the market today. They are highly polished, chromed-looking plenums that really stand out under your hood. So, if you like to "show" as well as "go", the Accufab is for you. And, yes, 10-15 HP is not out of the question. I am sure it is more with a '03 or '04 blown Cobra. For that matter, a Densecharger CAI can add almost 15 HP to a blown Cobra's output. They tested it on one and it jumped right up there! I am sure some are skeptical about the HP gains on plenums but 10+ HP really doesn't translate to that much more boost in the ***. You do notice a difference that is for sure and it tends to smooth out your entire engine. I still say a larger TB and plenum are a good choice for a mod. Just do it!

I heard that if you get a 75mm Tb & a plenum you also have to get your car tuned, is that True? and i have also herd that if you get a 75mm your car runs funny for some reason untill you get it fixed. what is the problem & how do u get it fixed?

No you don't need a tune and yes your idle will probably be choppy at first but it just takes your computer time to learn with the increase airflow.

The only critical tuning I have heard about is if you change injector size. Then you MUST also get a MAF that is "calibrated" to your larger injectors. If you do not do this, your car will run like crap.....permanently! Just be sure to disconnect your battery before doing any kind of engine modifications. When your mods are complete, reconnect your battery and let the computer retune your engine specs to meet your new enhancements. If you do not disconnect your battery, the computer will struggle for a time, usually at least one or two full tank fulls of gas, before it can accurately recalibrate your engine specs to compensate for your mods. It can sometimes take up to 10 days to get the recalibration straight if you do not drive the car that much. This also accounts for the many complaints above poor engine idle and acceleration right after new modifications have been made. It takes a little time for your computer to play "catch-up" to recalibrate your running spec parameters.
