Default Screamin demon coils

I am in need of new coil packs because I screwed one up while taking the engine out of the truck. I found a pair of brand new screamin demon coils for $50 less than what two stock ones cost. Just want to know how these will work for me if im not FI. If I do get them, do I still use factory gap in the plugs?? Thanks.

Would nitrous be out of the question as well? Thanks.

I've heard nothing but good things about those coils, haven't used them personally, but i was thinking of getting them in the future, if one of mine dies. Not sure about the plug gap change.

I wouldn't know on a GT's standpoint but my buddy has a 98 V6 stang and got that coil pack with 9mm livewire plug wires. He runs stock gap and everything and soon he will be doing a M90 sc swap to it running the coil.

As far as performance the car did pick up a little bit on top end saw a little bit better mpg's... He has had only one problem with it the car started spitting and popping and it was the coil. He e-mailed screamin demon and told them about it and they sent him a new one no ?'s asked and no problem since. He has over 10,000 miles on the new and he is more than satisfied. Hope this helps.
