Question O/R ok in Texas???

I have a very simple questions for Texans or anyone that is familiar with O/R pipes. I am interested in getting an X-pipe for my 03 GT, but my car is registered in TX and i need to find out if it will pass the emissions test. your help is appreciated, as I am not very familiar with the TX Laws. If it is legal, which ones do you recommend.

it just depends if your state enforces the law, for instance, in SC theres no emissions and no one ever gets in trouble for them, in Virginia youd get screwed

boy your glad you know me!! lol jk

in houston dallas and i think austin they sniff your pipes..

but in san antonio they do not! even though there have been talks of starting to checking exhaust

i have a o/r xpipe with flows and i have my inspection in may
plus you can just go to a shady shop and tell them straight up u dont have cats! the worst they'll do is say no

i used to work at a car wash with a oil change and lube place next door and one of the guys would take a stack and just sell them like girl scout cookies

the mustang is very popular in this city and you could spot a mustang with a o/r pipe every where u look

I've never had a problem. I'd say that most of the small rural towns don't even think about that.
