Default Intercooler Question?

I am about to intercool my car. I have an 02 mustang gt and was wondering where on the piping did everyone put there bov and mass.. I bought a new 90mm lighting mass and I want to use it for a blow-thru setup. Will this work by me installing it into the piping? OR will I need something else? I am looking to get 400rwhp with my Vortech T-trim. Please comment thanks

the blow off can go some where right off the discharge of the blower, and the maf somewhere on the tube right before it goes to the tb, about the same spot where the it originally sits, on my p1sc it sits in the fender well inside to hole that is cut out on the inner fender.

ok, well say if I can still keep the maf and bov where it is now(draw-thru), will my car still run right? However still run my intercooling piping with just piping and intercooler and nothing else. the maf will be in the fender well and the bosch bypass(bov) valve on the cold side or inlet pipe(powerpipe) and go back into the system NOT vented to (atmosphere).. ? Do u think this will work and i STILL CAN GET A GOOD TUNE??

The IAT sensor will be the only thing in the piping close to the Thottlebody...
what do u think??

That will be fine. As long as you keep you bpv recirculating back to the s/c intake you can keep your maf and bpv where it is.

I'll have a 31x12x3 intercooler for sale friday for 95 shipped if you're interested.

I ran with the maf in the fender for 2 years. But I went to a blow through setup and I'm much happier with, but the drawl through wasn't terrible.

I also have a 90mm MAf I would suggest to at least try and stay with same size pipe as the maf for 10-12" before and after the maf.

I had 2 set ups with the 90mm after the blower one with the stock intake and one after a TFS intake install with oval TB upper intake option.

Stock Intake.
