Default Steeda Quadrant, need spring?

I am in the process of install a new Ram HDX clutch and Steeda clutch adjustment kit. The kit has the quadrant, firewall adjuster and cable. The directions do not say to reinstall the stock quadrant spring. Is there no need for a spring with the new quadrant? Thanks for any help!

No need for spring as your new quadrant is a one piece design
