^^ probly not the best thing to do but... **** happens when you and your friends are drunk.

Dont forget the Oil dipstick... or just buy a lokar flexible one.

lable things and where certain bolts go... somehow I ended up with about 10 extra bolts I dont know where they went nothing leaks.
My issue with the valve covers was yes, getting some of the bolts undone and re-tightened, but more so the gaskets I bought are too long,,, and they buckle up and don't seal correctly...and I was getting IRATE...(actually this was when I replaced the timing chain cover AFTER the head install...don't ask)

and yes, I had 2-3 extra bolts and a washer left over... mostly from brackets that are supposed to hold lines in an organized matter...

Sounds like your buddy needs to find a new line of work if he is scared to time cams. Just line up the dots.

This might help https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6-...6k-beware.html

I think I might of burnt a valve when I ran it hot due to my intake manifold cracked. My car never smoked till after that day. Now if I let it idle for a while, it'll blow out a small cloud of smoke when I give it some gas
