different pads equal different materials, equals different stopping capabilities. there is definitely a difference how much exactly i don't know. Upgrading Calipers will net the biggest difference, i just did cobra brakes on my car and it stops much quicker not by too too much but its noticeable.

Cobra brakes suck. Two-piston calipers FTL.

i like the wilwood drag racing brakes. i dont have them yet. but ive read reviews and asked around at the track. they tuck into 15s too..im running a 1/4" spacer. =/

I'd recommend this kit, wont really increase the stopping distance, but should be adequate for your needs, and its a solid pad/rotor setup and you wont have to swap or convert anything. Just hang the rotors, swap the pads and be on your way.
