Recomendations for LOW budget mods on '03 4.6L
'03 Centenial GT, 4.6, auto.....daily driver
My first GT!! I am mechanically inclined not challenged but live on a limited budget.
cai? which? plenum + tb + cai
headers?
ignition mods or upgrades?
Do I have a 4.6 M or W block?
I'd really like to keep things under control. I mean that I'd like to maintain some kind of fuel efficiency ratio to the power it makes.
What about the 'Tornado' or tb spacer (vortex generator)?
Thanks for any and all responses!

Romeo 4.6.
Steeda timing adjuster, couple HP with large TQ gains. Gears for under $200, 4.10's or 4.30's if you want bang for the buck, install will be $200 plus typically. Mac H or X-pipe, under $200. Magnaflow cat-back under $400.

ive got an 03 and i reccomend exhaust and intake, but unless you want to void your factory warranty dont do the gears or tb or plenium or tune yet. i have flowmaster 40 series and you cant beat the sound you get from it

meh.. midpipe gains weren't noticable at all for me. the best bang for the buck mod i got done was gears. it offered a VERY noticable difference in acceleration. yanked you back in your seat. didn't cost a lot either. catback i noticed nothing from, when i actually had the K&N intake, i didn't notice anything with that either. just a tad better throttle response, no actual noticable gains. didn't notice much of anything with midpipe either. best bang for the buck is gonna be gears for ya.
