I have an 01 GT. I was driving and the car started acting like it was running out of fuel, loss of power, ulitmately ended up stalling. The car wont re-fire. I pulled a code P1237. I don't hear the fuel pump running when first switching the key on.

Any suggestions? The slow struggle leads me to think the fuel pump locked up. But I would hate to buy a fuel pump to find out it could have been a relay or something.

That code means there is something wrong with the fuel pump wiring. Check it.
