You can only do it on a vortech if you convert to blow thru.

Question #2:

I was driving today and noticed that it runs very rough just at cruising speeds. I got out and put the hose on and it runs fine now. Any thoughts?

Mine runs just fine with it venting to atmosphere. Are you running the standard ProCharger kit which puts the MAF in the passenger fender well after the intercooler but before the throttle body? I believe the bypass hose is connected before the intercooler.

Ya, my MAF is in the correct location. I think i'm going to call procharger and ask them. I"ll keep you all up to date.

Do you hear the by pass valve open while just cruising? Only thing I can think of is the valve is not opening.

When I built my buddys car with a procharger he wanted to vent it but I didn't because I didn't want to make a bracket to hold the valve from slapping around. Check and make sure the valve isn't resting on anything stopping it performance.
