Default Need upgraded brake advice

I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for through the search tool.

What kind of street brakes and pads would you all recommend for a 500 whp 4.6L? The car will spend most of the time on the road with a few drag strip visits thrown in.

EDIT: Now I feel like a dumbass, can this get moved to the 2005+ forum? That is where it should be.

I disagree. You are going to more then likely be stopping harder with 500+ HP only based on the fact I assume you are going to be driving the car a lot harder/faster then with.. lets say stock 235 wrhp. So in turn, you are going to want a more aggressive break to stop your car quicker and better.
