Default quick head question

i read in the may issue of MM & FF that jpc is using the 4.6 3 valve block and stroking it to 322 ci , well my question is can i use my 4 valve head with this block and what makes this block different from the 2 and 4 valve blocks? also has anyone tried this combo before . thanks

People have been doing it for years with modular blocks (all the same). They are called big bore. Alot of times they leak coolant from around the sleeves which is why ford racing came out with a factory big bore block.

Just get a stroker kit for your existing block and build off that.

the difference between the 2vs and 4vs besides inside the heads is the timing chain plate.

and jpc doesnt build the motor, rich grot does. jpc does the work to my car that i cant handle, there sending my block out once i get around to giving them 9k for it.
