Default EGR removal?

to make it short and sweet, ive got my drivetrain out for a tranny rebuild and some extra goodies and figured it would be a good time to remove the egr system, my questions are what do i need to do so it wont throw a code?

Its gonna throw a code unless you have the EGR turned off in the tune.

Yes you will need a tuner to turn off the code and the timing has to be adjusted to compensate so you will need it tuned as well.

You need the hardware to cover the openings as well. You can get the kit for $20 from lethalperformance.com
