Default swapped k member now hearing noises

upr chromoly kit with 14 inch 175 springs

every bolt is tightened. but i still hear the banging. sounds like the shocks are gonna come through the shock towers and through my hood.

any thoughts?

hmmm thats the same noise i have right now with my stock setup and i cant for the life of me figure it out! its driving me nuts!

there all brand new bushings. thats what i thought it was so i went and order a whole new front end. the first set of noises stopped, now i get these ones...-.-

the k member is sitting flush and the headers have about an 1 of space around them. lakewood drag struts last how many miles? its the 70/30s i have about 15k miles on them. could that be it.

struts that have failed will make a similar sound to what you describe. Did you convert to coilovers with the k? Try the bounce test and see if the front of your car oscillates more than one time up and one time down when you jump on it. Check to make sure the nut on top of your struts isn't too high. If it is it will allow your strut freedom to move when compressing/decompressing. Best way to check this is to rock the front of the car with the hood up and watch the strut shaft where the nut ties it down.

i figured out whatever the problem is only occurs when im by myself..when someone sits in the passenger seat it doesnt do it.
