Ok I have a 2 prong question for anyone willing to help... Im looking at throttle intake (any suggestion of one anyone that r worthy under $175???) vs. the American Muscle 4.6L GT Intake Spacer (1996-2004). Besides the money difference is there a great difference outside of possibly a few extra HP?

Throttle intake?
Since I have no clue what you mean I'll just give you my recommendation on every intake part.
Cold air intake: Stock or JLT
I don't believe in cold air intakes for daily driving. The only time they are useful is when you are at the track and remove your passenger side headlight and have a nice opening to get a "ram air" effect, more like ability to suck in some cooler air, but it does make a difference in trap speed.

Throttle body: MAC or Accufab 75mm
I have a MAC 75mm and it works great and really does make a difference in the car. I still say Accufab is the best though because it is just a high quality piece and looks great.

Plenum: C&L FTW
Great company, good price, perfect fit, works great, doesn't look out of place.

Intake spacers are crap.

 

intakes are a waste of money, plain and simple! t/b and plenum combos add some throttle response and "maybe" 5hp if your lucky. and throttle body spacers do nothing. dont waste the money.
