Default Help changing the map lights in a convertible

Hey MFers (lol I just noticed that ), I have a convertible, and the map lights are located in the rear view mirror housing. These bulbs are supposed to just pull out, but for the life of me I can't get enough leverage in there to pull those suckers out of the housing. Any ideas?

Flathead didn't cut it for me
Used small needle nosed pliers and they came out with a few tugs. Feels like you're going to break the factory bulb, but they'll take a bit of pressure before imploding.

Now I have blue LEDs to match the rest of my car =D

Yeah they're sweet looking, I had them in my celica and received complements on them literally every time someone else got into the car. Everything on my car is blue (car, top, interior panels, stereo, etc), so it's a nice touch to the color scheme. Here's a pic:

That does look good with your color scheme, however that is a little too much blue for my taste.

What kind of shifter is that?
