Should I buy 01 SVT? Please help !

Ok, since you do have some experience I think I would go for the 03 or 04 cobra. They have great power stock and alot of potential if you want more later.

and 18k for an auto mach is ridiculous. i got my cobra for 18500 with 21k miles a few months ago.

I agree with some of the others. If you have the money get the 03/04 cobra. More power stock (you can handle it). A nicer ride (IRS vs. mach 1's SA). Has a ton of potential. Has retained value well.
If you go looking for an 03/04 or any mustang for that matter, try to find one with minimal mods and a good owner. You can tell a lot about the car through a simple conversation with the previous owner. Good Luck!

lol @ mach 1 being the fastest, he put the numbers out in front of u and the mach had the lowest, even though a real race between a mach and an 01 cobra would most likely be dead even it had the lowest numbers of them all and u asked if it was the fastest, do you have any comprehension? I'm not even sure you should be aloud to drive.

And btw I wasn't reading the numbers, I was told that Mach 1 numbers were way underrated by ford, and in reality they are faster than the SVT. Could some one shed some light on this? Or is this complete BS lol.
I won't be buying anything for atleast 3-4 months. I'm just doing some reaserch and thought I would as you guys, as all of my friends are " Chevy Fans ". They simply just answer by saying NO to anything ford related. For example, " Found a cobra for X amount of $, think its a good deal ?".. " NO " .
