if its from 93-98 its a Teksid.

Get some Cobra R pullies
Electric waterpump
Cushman stage 3 cams or the afformentioned cams in some fr-500 heads with the mach intake.. should be somewhere near 380whp with ported parts and a bump in compression.

i'll look into the cushman cams and the cobra r pullies. maybe an electric water pump, dont know how that would work for a daily driver (car is parked until I get this engine built).

What is wrong with the "B" heads? I am going to port and polish them, are they just plain garbage or something?

Did I get ripped off for paying basically $200 for the teksid long block and accessories?

Why are parts more expensive for the teksid than my blown up npi romeo.

Why didn't you keep the Navigator Motor?
If your keeping the VIII heads and intake make sure you delete the IMRC plates while the engine is apart

if your just going to run stock cobra heads then your better off with some whizbang ported 2v heads.

I didnt keep the navigator motor because when I set the engine in the car I couldnt get the driver side valve cover off and it wouldnt fit under the stock hood.

A friend that has an f150 offered me twice what I paid for the engine so I bought the mark viii engine off another friend who abandoned his fox body project.

I'll be sure to delete the imrc plates.

FYI it is very hard to get the cam covers off with the VIII motor in the car also. And depending on the intake you go with you have to modify the hood for a VIII engine also

i figured it would be hard to get the viii covers off too, but the navigator covers had about .5 inch clearance on the master cylinder, and the intake wouldnt allow the stock hood to close, friend of mine pulled the 2.5 inch cowl hood on his car and it had about .5 inch clearance. (did the chewing gum test)

been pondering around the idea today about possibly bolting a kenne bell on the viii. dont know if I can find one for less than $3,800.
