Default ball joint problem

Im getting this nasty squeaking noise when I turn my wheel or hit a bump..I had to replace a balljoint on my old 93 mustang and the same noises are happening on my 99 gt. the car only has 36,000 miles on it. Could the ball joint still be good just dry? or if its squeaking pretty bad it has to be changed? thanks for your help

Well it sounds like you have dry socket... Is it a loud creeking kind of sound? Try to pinpoint if its the BJs or Tie rod ends. Poke a small hole in one joint at a time and spray some WD40 in there...see if the noise goes away. Do this to each BJ and tie rod (one at a time and retest) and you will find the problem. Does that make sense
