Default Any threads on cam swap?

I'm wanting to change the cams in my car but the search option is p*ss*ng me off and i cant find any threads. I need step by step and wondering if i need a tune right away. My cams are custom ground VT cams. Kinda like a stage 1.5. Thanx for any help guys.

The MF thread search sux, I just google it. I would post links to other forums, but I believe that is against MF rules. Just google mustang cam install or something like that, you should find what you are looking for.

Yeah lol....I found a really reputable shop that can install cams for $350 without new springs or $500 with. I was gonna get the hi-tech's since they also don't require new springs and I can afford $350 but now if anything I want CMS cams and the need springs.

That write-up is pretty useful to keep in the pocket though....but whats this thing about degreeing that you are suppose to do?

By the way where in CA are you at?

i wouldn't mind paying someone to do it but i have asked for mechanics here to do it and they said absolutely NO! I live in north central Wisconsin so there arent any speed shops. I'll check out mikes thread. Thanks guys and I'll keep you posted.
