diablo tuner HELP

RE: diablo tuner HELP
Umm i have it, i bought it so i could have my car dyno tuned w/ it. Or if i figure out how to go out in the street w/ it i'll use it myself and do some pulls and see where im runnin lean or rich. I kinda felt a differance when i used it the first time. Its worth it if you keep modding. Better then a chip. Im going to have the guys that tune my car just use my Diablosport to see how it does.

RE: diablo tuner HELP
man i paid 275 for it so at least what i paid i also went out and bought the power supply for it so that you can download all the new updates as diablo comes out with them. that way who ever buys it can check it out and verify that the i have downloaded the factory tune back in to mine so that they dont thinkim screwin them.

RE: diablo tuner HELP
Let see the several people that have responded have them......
Is it worth it? If you are going a bolt on route you will need a tune, period. You have a tool that is capable of it. The stock diablo tune is what is refered to as "safe" it leans the pig rich stock tune out a bit and adds some timing (10degrees over stock).
If you start to change the timing and fuel, you best be on dyno. You can do some damage. With my mods I was able to pick up 5rwhp and 6ftlbs by adding 1 degree of timing and leaning out the top end a bit. I am still no where near the 13.0 AFR that the car is capable of handling. I do need to get the front end leanness in check, which is caused by the TB/Plenum combo that is on the car, but 15.0 isn't bad for 1000rpm.
You won't be able to run anything less then 91 in the car and a bad tank with a full advanced timing my cause some pinging. (I carry my predator just in case)
I plan on picking up a custom tune for my clubs next dyno day to fix the front end leanness. Worth 75 bucks for unlimited tunes? Hell yeah!
