ok, ive had a ticking noise for a while now and then today it got louder untill bbboooommmm..now my car runs like shiznit and there is a loud noise. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I BLEW?BROKE?SNAPPED?

ticking = lifter in most cases..

sounds like your problem, Im not sure.

That sounds more like a blown head gasket or maybe a much cheaper exhaust leak.It doesn't have that mechanical sound of destruction.Of course that might be how my system makes it sound.

 

sounds like an exhaust leak. It could also be a blown head gasket, but I have never heard what an engine sounds like with one. But I have heard one with an exhaust leak, and it ticks like that. But your hands around the the headers and see if you can feel wind, and also cheak where your mid pipe connects. Follow the sound. You can also do a compression test on each cylinder to see if you blew your head gasket.

Have you recently done any work to your exhaust system?

It sounds like exaust to me.
If the head gasket was blown, more than likely there would be smoke coming out the tail pipe.
Is there any smoke coming out of the exaust?

 

Ticking could be a rod noise. After the kabloom, is anything leaking?

my vote goes to cracked intake or intake manifold gasket. If it was the head gasket you would see/smell smoke. If it was exhaust it would be a lot louder. If it was lifter it would sound more mechanical. This sounds like an intake leak to me. Check all the hoses too. Keep us updated! good luck.
