honestly mine was a five speed, b4 i programed it with 410s the rpms where lower than when i had 327s, it was also slower, i know it doesnt make sence but this is what my car did, once i got home and used my sct it got better

 

That was probably your car being pissed off and trying to get you back for putting that hood on it.
