PI motor Swap ?
Hey guys, I don't post here much because, well aside of an intake and exhaust I've done nothing to my 97 gt. I've got the chance to pick up and engine, transmission, and full front suspension from an 03 gt. The engine has everything but the ecu. The guy I'm buying it from told me I could swap my fuel rail and coil packs so that I can use my ecu. Then everything else just bolts in. Is that right? it just almost seems too easy.

I really think you need the ECU for that motor, but I could be wrong.
I heard that the ECU is number some how for the motor they came with.
Wish I could help you more but maybe someone can chime in with more info.
But IMO you need that ECU

Nope! All he has to do is have his comp reflashed/programmed. Bring it to a tuner and have him tune the car and everything will be fine.
